Which is the go-to Japanese dictionary app?

TL;DR I’m building an App to learn language through food, and need to know the most popular dictionary app for Japanese learners.

I’ve been working on an app in my free time, which combines menu translator with language learning, since I love food and learning languages.

Recently I added some new features, like hiding pronunciation and adding words from restaurant menus directly to a dictionary.

Here’s my problem – Chinese has a very clear leader Pleco, but I cannot figure out which is the goto app for iOS & Android? I would love to add Japanese, support.
