renshuu strategy for beginners

Noob question. Trying to understand how to use Renshuu app effectively. I started a couple months ago, learned kana first then decided to do RTK. I use Anki as my daily tool for studying Kanji, specifically, I have RTK and KanjiDamage decks. They overlap somewhat. In KD I study the meanings and onyomi. No readings in RTK, just meanings.

I got to about 1000 kanji so far and I think at this point I should start working on words and the grammar. I'd like to try Renshuu for that, I have the Pro version but I'm struggling to understand how to use it effectively. I mean I understand the app, I understand how the schedules work etc. I don't understand how to build the strategy and because of that I can't figure out how to setup my daily routines around it. I did watch the help videos but they most cover "how" not "what" to do.

This may be a naïve question, but I'm at a bit of a disadvantage for language learning as a type A personality. I found that just playing around doesn't really work for me. I need to define a specific routine with clear metrics, ability to track progress, and ideally tools to tweak the intensity as I go along. Anki is simple enough and has all that. My question is how to do that in a more complicated setup like Renshuu? I watched some reviews and tutorials on youtube about how the app works but couldn't find much on how to maximize its effectiveness. Maybe someone could point me to the right resource.

Thank you!
