Any way to look up my past addresses in Japan?

TLDR: I need to find some addresses that I previously lived at but have now completely forgotten. Is there any official (or unofficial) way to do this?

Details:

Feeling a bit ridiculous about this, it really is something I should be able to remember / have a record of.

My tax accountant has asked me to provide a list of my addresses dating back to my 18th birthday (almost 3 decades ago). I want to apply for a certain tax system and it is apparently required to check that I have not applied to that system previously. Japanese people would provide a 戸籍の附票 but those do not exist for non Japanese nationals.

I have my current address (of over 10 years), and my previous address (of 6 years). But I can't find any record of my addresses before that. Those are the only ones I have personal records of, and also the only ones on my 住民票.

The only place I could think to look them up is in my emails where I would have updated family & friends. Unfortunately I was using an old Yahoo account back then that was deleted many years ago. I also thought of checking my Amazon account, but if they were ever on there, I have removed them there too.

There are only three places, one in Gunma, that I lived at for only 6 months and probably couldn't even find on a map (or even if I went back there). The other two are in my current area (though under different cities). I could find the buildings, but don't remember the apartment numbers. I had a drivers license (& residence card, of course) at each of these addresses, but apparently the local city halls only keep records going back 5 years.

Do you know if I'd have any luck trying to get those addresses from the 'DMV' or from some national government agency (immigration?!) that would have kept records longer than the local authority?

Any other ideas? Thanks for any advice, and for keeping your mockery to a minimum 🙂
