MMoving to Japan

Wanting to do Master’s in Japan (AI & Robotics) – Final Year CS Student

Hi everyone,

I am a final year 8th sem CS student , I want to pursue masters degree(AI with Robotics)in Japan . I have watched many videos on it and I am not properly able to figure out where to start

My profile : CGPA 7.5 , 9 month internship experience, ongoing research paper on the topic of AI .

Specialty : C++,Py,Go,PHP,MERN,Ai agents

I would really appreciate guidance from anyone who has gone through this process . Anyone could share the steps ,should follow like recommended exam , scholarship or anything important to strengthen my chances for acceptance

  1. If youre aiming for AI + robotics, the best thing you can do (besides grades) is show a clear throughline: perception/controls/robotics basics + a focused AI area (RL, planning, multi-agent, or embodied LLM agents).

    Since you mentioned AI agents, try to frame them in robotics terms (task planning, tool use, safety constraints, sim-to-real). A small portfolio project in ROS2 + a paper-style writeup helps a lot.
