I’m moving to Japan in a few months and by that time I will still be taking isotretinoin for my acne which I just started taking.
I doubt that my dermatologist in my home country will allow me to bring a larger batch with me since they can’t monitor how I’m doing (it’s demanded that a do a blood test every four weeks) when I’m in Japan. I normally get 50 pills every time and have to get a new prescription every time and collect the pills within five days before the blood test will be outdated.
I will probably have to end my treatment, but I would like to continue it in Japan.
Does anyone have any experience with getting isotretinoin from a Japanese dermatologist? It’s not the easiest prescription medication to get where I’m from so I fear that I will have to end the treatment completely. Or maybe anyone has been in the same situation as me?
