We had orientation this week for my daughter's yochien which she starts in April and there are only 6 kids in her class. I was pretty surprised because there are a lot of kids where I live and I live in the suburbs of Kobe, not the middle of no where. My wifes friend is sending her kids to a different yochien and they have 5 kids in their incoming class.
Is this the normal size or just a result of the birth rate? I'm indifferent to the size of the class, just curious about the average size since I thought it would be much bigger.
