So after The New Beginning In Osaka, is Gabe Kidd officially gone from NJPW?
I read a comment from the Japanese backstage comments from user @toshi4469, about how Gabe Kidd’s comments were edited out of the video, but he apparently said that:
“Let me say this: I’m leaving. I have a legacy to settle in America. I can’t eat or sleep until I’ve dealt with this Darby Allin guy. It won’t be over until that bastard is gone. This is a breakup, but it’s not a permanent breakup. I’m taking some time off. I know this will hurt someone. I’m truly sorry. I don’t know when I’ll be back. But this is something I need for myself. I’ve carried everything on my shoulders for this past year. But what’s the result? I got nowhere, all I’ve left is a broken heart.”
I know Clark Connors didn’t get a proper sendoff either, but it does feel weird. He wasn’t with the rest of the Unbound Company as well at the end of the show. But it does possibly seem that we’ll see him again?
