Hey everyone. I’m making plans to hopefully afford myself the luxury of importing my American market car to Japan. I already worked on it a lot, and my emotional attachment to it is priceless, so I am willing to go through the process but need to know what the ballpark is for the total expenses.
I know I need it to go through Shaken and I know I gotta make sure the turn signals are the correct color. Not sure if there’s anything else to deal with.
To anyone who’s pulled it off before, how much approx is it to get the car exported and through the system before it is road legal? Any extra expenses to look out for in case things go wrong or hit a snag?
