I’m 23 I got a job offer for an entry level IT job in Tokyo. I’m a new graduate with an IT degree from a US university (no debt of any kind), just moved to Japan in December. It pays 23.5万 a month which to my knowledge is pretty average for a 新卒 starting salary in tokyo. I also get 2 bonuses a year about (10万 ea.) and my annual salary will be about 305万 a year with bonuses included. I’ll probably have about 19万 left over after all the taxes etc. get deducted. I currently live with my parents in Osaka and was wondering if this is realistically something I can save money with if I’m conscious with my money. If there’s anyone that makes about the same I would like to see some cost of living comparisons. Thanks
