They played a video of Darby skateboarding outside the arena earlier today, then being attacked and abducted (literally shoved in a trunk) by Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors.
When introducing the video, Excalibur referred to Gabe and Clark as “The War Dogs.”
UPDATE: Later in the show, Gabe and Clark invaded the production truck and ordered them to play a self-made video of them driving in the desert while dragging Darby in a body bag behind their car, then leaving Darby in the body bag in the middle of the desert.

Sat Feb 14th vs Hangman Page at Grand Slam Australia (for shot at whoever wins that night’s AEW World title match between MJF and Brody King)
That’s AEW since 2023. And that’s exactly where Gabe Kidd belongs. May he be happy over there and never come back.
lol. remind me of bret hart digging a grave for goldberg after turning on russo who turned on goldberg who turned on a carwindow. it’s kinda stupid. maybe though go even more extreme and have them drive with the car backwards to end the scene.
AEW sometimes feels like a fever dream. but without reaching DDT’s nihilistic approach of circlejerking about wrestling itself nor following through like the gritty lucha underground.
Brody King though.. is a bit a shame NJPW Strong didn’t lead to more involvement in Japan.
