Bottom line up front: I'll be on Air Force duty in July and my wife/kids are coming over from the states for 2 weeks. They aren't staying on base and need some fun activities to do when it will be really, really hot. They certainly want to spend time at the beaches, but what else might you recommend for a family with 2 kids (elementary and middle school). Could you suggest a few things they should try to check out? We already have plane tickets. I was hoping to spend around 3k on a hotel for them and then another 3-4k for them for food/travel/recreation. We never do this sort of thing so I am totally over my skis here.
