Got a chance to travel over this long weekend and got to experience this.
While going home from Cherry Blossoms viewing I saw and experience the hate on one trip.

couple just walking slowly on a path (In a park) then this maybe 20s woman wants to pass thru between them but failed. Then after giving them a side eye w/ a punching gesture

my wife's shoe is stepped on by a around 30s man. Me & my wife is on a not so crowded evening train (many seats are free & my wife is sleeping in my shoulder) then this man stand in front of us and sneakily started stepping on my wife shoe. She moved at first thinking its just an accident but he followed & stepped again. She told me and I saw it. I immediately kicked his leg and pointed at his face. He just nodded "no" (I think he interpret it as a threat) and got off at the next station.
I thought singles here are getting common? Isnt that makes a better chance of getting a partner increase? Or what is happening?
