Should I get my degree in Japan and move back to US for work?

I have three pathways: Get in the union and get plumbing apprenticeship, no debt, good pay, good future, but work is not necessarily fulfilling or something I’m passionate about.

OR, go to school for becoming a choir Teacher, something I would really enjoy, and be in debt for the rest of my fucking life all while eventually having kids and trying to afford a house for a min paying job as choir teacher.

OR THE THIRD OPTION… move to Japan (awesome in itself), get my degree in music performance there, not be in as much debt, and move back to US hopefully able to find work and look as good as getting degree here in states.

so my question is to anyone who has done this, is getting a job after getting education in Japan the same difficulty as getting it here in the states? Is it looked down on? Does it make the person more impressive? Do employers not give a fuck where you got it to begin with? I need help!!!
