He’s 6 and goes to a local hoikuen. Mixed race, but it’s a Japanese-language household. He refuses to speak English, but we think he understands some.
Any English-speaking YouTube channels your kids get really hooked on (but still kid-safe)?
I’m hoping if we find something he actually loves, he’ll start watching in English naturally.

Japanese-language household here (I’m Japanese, wife’s bilingual), and I’m not trying to force speaking — just hoping he’ll get into English naturally through content he loves.
