Hi am japanese american (have both passports) but currently live in US.
Am thinking about purchase of a home for my mother near Yokohama so she can be closer to my brother who lives in tokyo. She currently lives in rural japan taking care of grandma. Was wondering if there are any banks that would provide a loan for people like me?
I spoke to a realtor and they were saying most bank would require me to at least work in japan for a year to qualify for a loan. Is that the case?
If you know of any bank I could reach out to, would appreciate! Thank you.
