For curiosity, I am considering buying a new laptop here in Japan since my current one is a mac m1 with not much SSD left. I wonder for those who are software engineers and are using a macbook with japanese keyboard, did you regret buying with this setting?
You can change the settings from japanese to english but the layout will still be different.
To me what looks the most weird is the capslock and ctrl keys completely switched, and the @.
What is your experience so far?
