Hi everyone, I’m cleaning my grandmother’s apartment in Katsushika-ku and she has a massive amount of clean, often still packaged bedding (sheets, blankets, sets). Like 60+ items and it's filling an entire room.
I used book off for books recently, but I need a similar service for household goods that can do home pickup (shutchou kaitori / 出張買取). Dealing with Sodai Gomi (bulky waste) for this volume is a nightmare and Id much rather these go to someone who can use them rather than a incinerator.
Does anyone know of a charity or a reliable "recycle shop" that will come collect a bulk load like this for free (or even buy it)? I’m looking for a service that handles the "heavy lifting" directly from the apartment so I don't have to bag and drag 60+ items to the curb.
Appreciate any leads for the Katsushika area or Tokyo in general!
