Does anyone here know why the version of the Death Riders theme on Spotify is higher pitched/slightly sped up compared to how it sounds when he’s actually entering? To my knowledge he’s only entered to the slower version (the one posted on their YouTube) unless the Spotify one was used at some point and I just never saw.
Best answer I could find was just google’s ai thing at the top of a search that said wrestling music will often have its speed/pitch changed “to evade automatic content-ID detection systems that would otherwise remove the song,” but this sounds more like it’s about fans putting a wrestling company’s music on streaming, not the company itself.
I’ve actually wondered this for a while, but it popped back into my head since I’ve been seeing a lot of videos on TikTok where people are talking about how good the theme was!
