Any experience with ALTA injection (for hemmorhoids)

I’ve been dealing with hemmorhoids my whole life or since I was around 7-8 years old (my fault I drank very little water and had a low fiber diet as a child).

Ive been to countless clinics in Japan where the doctors look at it and say “oh yeah take these meds and you’ll be fine“.

They always prescribe something like a suppository, ointment, oral medication to reduce swelling or whatever.

Whenever I ask (isn’t there a more permanent solution) they say “well I could chop it off but it’s very painful“ and that’s that.

I have researched the various options and ALTA injection seems to be a low-risk, pain-free, quick-acting solution with low recurrence rates even 3-5 years out.

-Questions-

[1] Does anyone (preferably in/around Tokyo) have experience with ALTA injection?

[2] if so, where did you get it done and how was it?

[3] was it covered by insurance? How much did it cost in total? (including ancillary checks, anesthetic if used)

[4] Did you have to “fight” to get to the stage of having an ALTA injection (ie did they try to fob you off with the same old temporary prescriptions?)
