Kyoto – Kanazawa via Shinkansen – is 9 mins enough to change trains?

Hello here,

I'm travelling from Kyoto to Kanazawa in a couple of weeks and when I'm looking for train tickets, it shows that I have to do a stop in Tsuruga which is fine, the only thing is that the time between trains is between 9 – 12 minutes.

Do you know if this is enough? or if I have to buy Kyoto – Tsuruga and then another later (approx. 1.30 – 2 hs later) Tsuruga – Kanazawa?
