I'm going to Japan in mid April and read that weather can be pretty unpredictable in terms of rain and temperature excursions (I don't know if it's actually true). I've tried many shoes and I'm almost ready to settle on the ASICS Gel Pulse 17. I noticed that there is a GTX version that has a Goretex layer on it.
Do you think it's worth spending more on the waterproof version or is a water resistant spray enough on the regular ones?
