  1. Sorry this is off topic but this photo reminds me of Level 666, Ain’t All Blood Red, from Backrooms, this just reminds me, but you can crosspost this photo to r/Backrooms if you find like a real life of Level 666 to Backrooms fan

The first, second and third pic is a great photo match of Level 666!

  2. The back of this path has a waterfall for misogi if I’m not mistaken. This part of the mountain is definitely not traveled often by visitors.

  3. It was an adventure coming back after sunset. The trails were dimly lit and it was kind of spooky. Fun.

  4. Yeah, that was one of the most surreal walks I’ve ever had too. I did it near dusk and the further up you went and the thinner the crowds got the more otherworldly it felt.

  5. > Surreal

Do you even know what that means? What’s so surreal about this walk?

  6. I’ve gone that way twice now, the next time if I go I’d like to do a night walk up there on the main route.

  7. These are lovely photos just after dark. I did the hike at about 6am and it was so quiet. Definitely something about it.

  8. That’s a dark desolate forest? Or is the lens or the perfect non touristy timing? If looks haunted

  9. If this is Fushimi Inari, it’s a miracle to take a photo without all those tourists.

  10. Beautiful photos. Great job waiting for phot opportunities without any other people. I loved it there, but it was Al’s quite crowded. How was it for you?

  11. My in-law family has a 玉垣 here and the other week I joined them for their annual offering thing they do. About 15 tourists surrounded and took pictures from only 2-5 meters away.

It was 1,5 hours trip to go there and then left after 2 minutes. 🤣🤣
