Overpacking for a 2 week trip in March as a conscious female

Hi, I’m excited about visiting Japan next week and doing the golden route (inclu Hakone and Hiroshima) for 14 days. Previous holidays, I looked like I’m wearing the same top everyday because I like to wear monotone colours and repeat! Therefore I want to bring a variety of coloured tops and trousers, but I know it would be considered overpacking. I’m only bringing one checked suitcase. Staying in city hotels in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, and they provide pyjamas. Will go to the theatre and some nicer restaurants.

Is it ok to visit cocktail/jazz bars wearing casual clothes and trainers? Please let me know how I can reduce my packing list but also look nice in photos:

– Umbrella

– Trench coat water repellant

– Denim jacket

– Black blazer

– 7 long sleeve tops (T-shirts, blouses, thin sweaters)

– 2 lightweight jeans (black and blue)

– Black Nike trainers

– White fitflop trainers

– Compression and sports socks

– 2 day bags (backpack and crossbody)

– 1 scarf

– Possibly thermal base layer for Hakone

– 7 undies and wash in coin laundry

– 1 swimwear just in case

– Essential toiletries (contact lens, eye drops, nasal dry spray, deodorant, perfume, spf, medication, melatonin)

– Powerbank, multi charger, earphones, bluetooth sleep mask, electric toothbrush, coin purse, soap flakes and hand towel

I’ve decided to not bring my black ballet pumps as they are not most comfortable if out all day and evening. Thanks
