It begins. Got up at 4:30am and been working on the N1/Kanken 2 boot camp grind.
What does 澪奈様は**エモい**んです分かってもらえます? mean here? I see the definitions ’emo’, and ‘erotic in a disgusting way’, but neither quite fit?
Context:
It was a girl saying this to her classmate. She also said this to her:
究極の曲線美というか澪奈様の括れが尋常じゃない色気を醸し出していてしかもそこに水泳界のスターっていう肩書が加わるとそれはもう神々しいくらい尊いっていうかエロがエモに変わる瞬間っていうか…
I want to write a letter to send to a Japanese creator I admire, and I assembled this template with my limited knowledge of the language. Is this the correct way?

So I live in a country where JLPT exams aren’t available. Is there a way to do those online or do I have to travel abroad for an exam?
I’ve been learning for 2 years now so really would like to test where I stand.
is this translation for the number two correct

**なんか気にかかる変わり身の速さだなあ!**
Hope someone could help me understand correctly the meaning of this character’s dialogue in story. I’m not native speaker so i’m not sure if i can understand this dialogue true to the author’s intention. My initial guess : ” For some reason the way you changed attitude so fast now made me felt worried !”
Context: Main character is running away with his clan’s subordinates after they stole something, and now a mysterious girl who seems to be the city’s police force is pursuing them.
??? (Strange girl)「
Hi all! When wanting to express that something is being downplayed (ex: he is downplaying the difficulty of the situation, test, etc) how could one express this in Japanese?
The earth radical and the samurai radical look the same when they are on the left in their reduced form, right? Or do they look slightly different?
It there a pattern to pitch accents? I know obviously I need to just learn them individually, whenever I learn the word. I’m not trying to find a shortcut. I’m just curious if there are underlying rules or patterns that *tend* to be true, a good amount of the time. Just to see if I can notice patterns and to see if I can make any connections. Like in English, most of the time, the second to last syllable is stressed. It’s not always the case, but a good amount of the time, it is.
Hi!! I’m making a picture book / manga and I’m looking for some onomatopoeia. Hard to find good resources for describing what it represents and getting examples. Here’s what I’m looking for:
– Explaining something in an annoying way? Overexplaining? Being nerdy?
– Teacher explaining something well. Would ペラペラ work?
– Someone saying something REALLY mean. In a normal tone of voice? but just an onomatopoeia for cruelty?
– Feeling nostalgic or wistful, thinking of childhood, hometown
– Eureka! moment. Like when Newton discovered gravity. Something really huge. Maybe like キュン?
– Rotting food, moldy fruit, sour milk (there’s a lot of it in the story)
– Very tight hug (not too tight, but just secure and cozy)
Totally get that these might not have onomatopoieas (onomatopii?) but if you can think of anything that fits even slightly, I can figure out a way to use it. Thank u!!!
