【Washington, Jiji Press】 The Japanese and U.S. governments have decided to cancel the working lunch that had been scheduled after the summit meeting between Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and U.S. President Donald Trump on the 19th. The summit meeting, originally planned for about 30 minutes, is now expected to be extended.
A Japanese government official explained, "This is at President Trump's request; he wants to continue the talks without wasting time on lunch." The dinner meeting will proceed as planned.
