I used to go there with my son in the daytime at weekends, but then they started only opening in the evenings. So we haven’t been in ages.
I guess even that is not viable any more.
I have a t-shirt from there, that coincidently, I wore a few days ago.
Their pizza was pretty good.
Not surprised tbh. They have done anything but making Pizza for the past years. When they opened, they sold slices and 30cm whole pizza. They stopped selling the whole pizza in 2022 iirc, explaining that they are “NY style”, and, hence, not selling whole pizza. Instead, you got the DJ events, the rice dishes, … Really anything but pizza. I once dropped by around 7PM for dinner, only to find the showcase mostly empty. Asking whether they would make some other Pizza, the reply was “probably not.” Well… if you don’t want to sell…
I really miss Dais Pizza. That was a great place.
Only the east location, right? Or are they closing both?
Pop! Pizza is pretty good. Havent tried Monstar but will get a slice before they go. If you have any other chicago/NY style pizza recommendations please let me know!
