Hi! So I'm planning a trip to Japan next year from Scotland, Its for May 2027 and thought I would post my first intineary for any advice. We're two young dudes (23) who are massively into Nintendo, theme parks, and animals (but ethical). Any suggestions would be great! Also any great vegetarian spots (I bet there is loads) from personal experiences.
Also is the Nara Deer Park ethical? As is Osaka Aquarium? Obviously only want to support good practices 😃
Day 1— Arrive from Glasgow at 11am,
Stay near Kiyosumi Gardens, and wander round in late Afternoon.
Try out some vending machines and relax.
Day 2
Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo (Ikebukuro)
Pikachu Sweets Café (same building)
Nintendo Tokyo (same building)
Mario‑themed food & drinks (Parco 6F)
Shibuya Crossing (will take these at a leisurely pace, might cut one but I think this might be acheivable?)
Day 3
Joypolis (Gekion Live)
Tokyo Skytree
Pokémon Center Skytree Town
(Might add to this day)
Day 4
Koishikawa Korakuen
Tokyo Dome City (Thunder Dolphin)
Imperial Gardens (East Gardens of the Imperial Palace)

.
Day 5— Todoroki Valley + Akihabara + 8bit Café
Todoroki Valley (1.5–2 hours)
Akihabara (shopping, arcades)

Might add more to some of these days, do they already sound like "enough"?
Day 6: Day trip from Tokyo (to be decided)
Day 7: Tokyo-Osaka,
Day 8 Universal Studios Japan
Day 9: USJ Day 2.
Day 10:
Shinsaibashi • Pokémon Center DX • Osaka AquariumStart with Pokémon Center DX and optional Pokémon Café, then head to Tempozan Harbor Village for the Osaka Aquarium (if ethical) and waterfront views.

Day 12:

Lakeside walk
Chill evening by the lake
Day 13: Fuji Q Highland
