As you have acknoledged, day 11 is very full.
Are you aware it will take you 30 minutes to get prepared for the Kimono and another 15 minutes if you want your hair styled and hair accessories selected? You don’t know where you will be in the line, investigate booking a time? We found the rental shops opened at 9am, some at 10am. If you go with the sandals, especially the wooden ones, you will walk slower. In saying all that it was one of the best experiences my wife had in Japan and the photos I took look amazing. I would consider just picking your must see locations and add others if you are going well time wise.
Kyoto days run smoother if you cluster nearby spots and leave transit buffers, especially around temple areas that get crowded midday. I’d save each place name in Japanese text and pin them offline before heading out. For real-time questions in shops or taxis, a quick voice fallback like TurnTalk helps keep the conversation moving.
