No income, Leaving Japan, File Taxes?

Hi all –

I arrived in Japan in August 2025 and will be leaving in June 2026. Long story short, my family and I need to leave Japan much sooner than we had expected. I need to file personal income taxes, right? I had no income. I entered on the BMV but didn't end up having any business operations.

Taxes are so confusing to me in general.
