【Italians Likely to Be Furious】 Pizza Hut Releases “Yokohama Ie-kei Ramen Pizza” Supervised by the Chairman of Yoshimura-ya Himself

Pizza chain Pizza Hut is launching the third installment of its "Ramen Collaboration Series," which has previously generated the biggest response in its history.

This time, they have teamed up with "Yoshimura-ya," the legendary origin and head temple of "Ie-kei (house-style) ramen." The new product born from this passionate collaboration between the two companies, "Ie-kei Head Temple Yoshimura-ya Supervised Yokohama Ie-kei Ramen Pizza," will be available for a limited time from March 4 to March 31.

■ Chairman Yoshimura's Official Seal of Approval – A Pizza Infused with the Soul of "Ie-kei"

The collaboration came about thanks to the shared connection that both companies are headquartered in Yokohama. During development, Chairman Yoshimura personally conducted tastings and supervision early in the morning after finishing the soup preparation. He gave strict feedback along the way, but ultimately gave his stamp of approval with the words "This works!" – a testament to the seriousness and dedication behind this product.

The base is an original sauce combining tonkotsu (pork bone) soup with chicken broth and infused with the aroma of chicken oil (chiyu). It is topped with fragrant chashu (braised pork) that enhances the richness of the soup, along with spinach – the iconic topping synonymous with Ie-kei ramen.

The compatibility between the spinach, whose fresh green flavor is brought out by baking, and the sharp soy sauce is outstanding. Finish by sprinkling the included "shredded nori" (seaweed), and you have a complete "Ie-kei experience" right on top of the pizza crust.

■ The Ultimate Flavor Transformation with Special "Garlic Vinegar" Developed from "Ramen Vinegar"

What will make Ie-kei fans groan in delight is the inclusion of a special "garlic vinegar" developed based on Yoshimura-ya's familiar tabletop condiment "ramen vinegar."

Enjoy the intense, rich tonkotsu soy sauce flavor straight first, then drizzle on the "garlic vinegar" midway through – it adds aroma and sharpness for a refreshing, supreme flavor transformation.

The "Ie-kei Head Temple Yoshimura-ya Supervised Yokohama Ie-kei Ramen Pizza" will be sold at Pizza Hut stores nationwide (with some exceptions) for a limited time only, from March 4 to March 31.
