It's my first week in Japan, and I have researched several posts here and other articles about SIM in Japan. It comes to me that the best value is Rakuten.
Yet, some say that Rakuten network is great only in the big cities, and is bad for area that not too close to big cities, especially rural areas. The best network and coverage are company like Softbank, etc but it's quite pricey.
Some people in big cities like Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoya even said they that sometimes the connection is bad when entering convenience stores.
So like the title, what is the best SIM for its value (affordable but great in network coverage) in Kumamoto?
I work and live in Kikuchi district, Kikuyo town. Yet, since I love traveling I'm planning to go travel to some rural areas like Mount Aso, Takachiho Gorge, Ise, Toba.
