Is it worth paying 5–6万円 for a 1-room in Tokyo? I’m planning to move out from my parents’ place and live on my own and trying to figure out what’s realistic. I’ve seen places around that price, but my friends told me those might be 事故物件 (places where something happened like a death), so I’m a bit unsure about them. I also noticed a lot of places in that range have the toilet and bathroom combined, which I guess is normal at that price.
Also, is anyone here currently living in a 1-room or something similar around that price? How is it for a beginner living alone?
I’m wondering if it’s actually worth it or if I should go higher. My budget is around 8–10万円 and I’m ideally looking for a 1K if that’s possible. Would appreciate any advice.
Locations I’m currently thinking are Nakano or Nerima or megoru
