Second time to Japan. Where to go during October?

My partner and I will be going to Japan for our honeymoon. We already visited Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hakone. We did the classic touristy activities and saw all that good stuff when we travelled there our first time.

Currently in the planing stages and haven’t settled on anything. We are planning to go back to Tokyo and open to suggestions for other cities or towns, would be nice to get an authentic feel vs a touristy place. Looking for recommendations for where to go during October and any activities that are a must! We are going for 2 weeks flying in and out of NRT.

My partner likes crafting, pottery, and all that creative stuff.

I’m sporty (golf, tennis/pickleball, volleyball), Lego, Pokémon. Would like to visit a watch store as well
