So, I let my driver's license expire because I don't drive much after moving to Tokyo, and never got the postcard. Recently had it reissued(less than 6mo. from expiration)
Everything I read online said I'd get kicked back to a green license, and need to display beginner mark – but I got blue, and nobody at the license center mentioned anything about a penalty or needing to display the mark.
When I initially converted a few years ago, they did tell me I was exempt from displaying the mark.
Do I need this? Is there something on my license that indicates it? Don't want to make any mistake.
