So I am half Danish/Japanese, born in Japan but moved to Denmark at a young age, and have since lived in Denmark my entire life. I am planning on going to Kyoto University on exchange for a semester, but am having doubts about certain processes regarding visa and CoE. I hold both a Danish and Japanese passport, so as far as I understand, I do not need either if I enter Japan with the Japanese passport.
I tried asking Kyoto University directly for information, but as they have not had many exchange students with dual citizenship, they were not able to provide a definitive answer.
Does anyone have experience with this or know how it works?
