I'm hoping someone with experience with Japanese IPoE fixed IP services can help me debug this.
I'm using enひかり光クロス with the v6plus fixed IP option (provided via JPIX), running pfSense 2.8.1
For the pfSense configuration, WAN is set to IPv4 None and IPv6 DHCPv6 with /56 prefix delegation, LAN is set to static IPv4 (192.168.10.1/24) with IPv6 tracking the WAN interface.
For the tunnel, I have a Virtual IP on WAN set to the CE address (IPv6 prefix combined with the fixed IPv4 octets in hex,. A GIF tunnel is configured with this CE address as the parent, pointing to the BR, with the fixed IPv4 as the local tunnel address. Using 192.0.2 1 as the remote.
OPT1 is assigned to gif0 with MTU 1460 and MSS 1420, set as the default IPv4 gateway.
Everything worked fine until Monday. But I no longer have an IPv4 address and the tunnel is not tunneling. Native IPv6 still works perfectly, DHCPv6 prefix delegation succeeds, ping6 to the BR responds normally, and LAN clients get IPv6 via SLAAC. However IPv4 through the tunnel has completely stopped working.
I called enひかり support and they say there is no issue on their BR side.
