About electricity, I saw that you can get contracts with or without a base fee. I am checking two options from Octopus Energy. Can you help me understand the benefits and recommendation for my case?
I live alone, work from home 2 times per week but have a PC for gaming plus use a couple other gaming consoles. So maybe slightly higher usage.
- Green Octopus (7,731 JPY with estimated usage 270kWh/month)
– basic fee: 29.10/30A/day
– 0-120kWh/JPY = 20.62
– 121-300kWh/JPY = 25.29
– 301+ = 27.44
- Simple Octopus (8,391 JPY with estimated usage 270kWh/month)
– No basic fee
– 31.6 Jpy/kWh
