31yo Male from Melbourne Aus.
I'm exploring the possibility of moving to Japan to achieve PR but am finding conflicting info online about visas.
I have enough points for highly-skilled professional visa but not sure on some things. please help! 🙂
- Does my chosen job matter if i have enough points?
- I'm a Senior commercial property manager and not sure if this counts as 'high skilled'?
- being a Property Manager, do i need the Takken to work as an agent in Japan?
- Do they use my age and points from when the Visa is granted (when im under 35), or when i do PR application? or both?? (i turn 32 in Dec 2026, but its possible i'd be 35+ by the time i apply for PR therefore losing points and could go under 70.
- if the HSP visa is too complex, would it be suggested to go for a normal visa and then apply for PR after 1-3 years (depending on points?)
