Is moving to japan for a short time (1 year, working holiday) without ever having visited yet, taking the move as the first oportunity to visit, a crazy idea or is it not that bad?
I am planning on having a 2-3 week trip alone this year in november, first time visiting japan after wanting to all my life, but Ive also been considering for 1-2 years grabbing a working holiday visa and moving there for a full year to immerse into the language and learn more "realistically" as well as just getting to know many areas of the country.
I was thinking that if I have enough money saved up 2-3mo before the trip (time to apply for visa) I can seriously consider doing it cause nothing else would be stopping me.
Or am I just better off visiting for 2-3 weeks, and thinking about the 1 year stay only once I get back, so I really know what japan's like?
