Is Japan actually racist against white people specifically or they are not used to being minorities

I see online a lot of white people feel so targeted by racism in Japan. I recently moved to Japan for work and my anecdotal experience was that Japanese people aren't actually targeting white people, it's just that white people are not used to being "neglected" as a minority. I initially arrived to Japan with a group of friends and we had instances where my friends and I were refused entry at a restaurant, but I think it was due to us being foreigners and not speaking Japanese, and not specifically because my friends were white. Like they would have done the same to other people who didn't speak Japanese

I didn't also see that other people were treated better, it seemed like Japanese people neglect blacks and indians even more than white people. And I have a friend who works as an English teacher and they said white people are seen as more desirable for teaching, so why does it seem common on Reddit that white peolpe say they are victims of racism in Japan?
