I wanna ask what the reasons for using もん instead of から when explaining the reason for something and what もん expresses.

I feel like I can kind of understand the use in context, but when attempting to describe what I think it is supposed to express, I find myself not able to describe it well. Anyone who can would be appreciated!

  1. もん is short for もの. もの is used where you feel the reason should be obvious. もん is somewhat childish though.
