For context I am a 21 yo male flying into Tokyo on may 12 and leaving may 26. I'm going with three of my friends the same age.
Our general thought was to start in Tokyo, go to Kyoto for a few days, go to Osaka for a few days, and day trip to Hakone or a similar area.
We booked our flights thinking we'll just figure it out but now we actually have to figure it out lol.
We want to get an all around experience and immerse ourselves in local culture. We're all pretty social, enjoy the outdoors, and like damaging our livers with good company.
If anyone has suggestions for specific places, events, experiences, restaurants, bars, shops, people to give business to, etc I would be more than happy to take advice!
