Up to this point I believe I've tried the majority of cheese flavored snacks in Japan with only one truly offering anything I could call an enjoyable experience: カール. While I was living in Fukuoka the cheese flavor slowed in it's restocking at my local supermarket before eventually never coming in stock again. For some confounding reason consomme continued getting restocked regularly but I'm not a fan personally. A particularly bad example I can give is Cheetos. Like many other cheese snacks here they have a revolting amount of sweetness that I simply can't understand. Who could possibly enjoy this kind of combination. Evidently a large amount of Japanese people I guess but I digress. Anyways let me know your favorite cheese snacks if you have any or some that have disappointed you like Cheetos did to me. God I wish we got goldfish crackers or crispy minis here.
