Hello,
I have recently moved to Japan and am having issues understanding Hikari lines. I found, through another post, the site that allows me to see if my Apartment building has service. The apartment building does and my room number showed on that site. This is the part I am confused about.
Currently there is no outlet with a Hikari Line available and when I proceeded through the site, I will link below, in the cost breakdown it shows a construction fee. I have asked and installation is fine as long as there is no drilling holes involved. Luckily, I have seen being on a low floor, for me second, typically makes this easier.
Now my question is how do I find out if the installation is possible without drilling holes? Do I contact NTT West and would I have to pay a fee for them to just come out and say it is or isnt possible? Or, since my room showed on the website, does that mean it is possible without drilling?
Thank you for any responses and if I need to clarify or give more information I will.
The NTT West site that showed service is available.
