Basically what the title says. I have an emergency family situation where i have to fly back to the states so i wont be living in japan anymore therefore i was forced to break the contract.
Its a 50000¥ contract fee for just an application form i filled up on their webpage. I never signed any physical paper or met anyone IRL or was handed the keys of anything. Never moved in
Now my question is: if i decide not to pay can they take legal actions against me or is this all shady bullshit talk on their side to take my money?
