Hello,
I am in Okinawa for golden week and am interested in checking out the dragon boat races! I am staying near Chatan, and know nothing about them. From what I gather they are on the 3rd and 5th, mainly in Naha harbor.
My questions are
Are they all day? Or is there a “prime” time?
Are they anywhere else on the island?
Any recommendations on things to do in between?
This is my first time in Japan so forgive me if I am unaware, but would definitely like to experience it, crowds and all!
