I'm going through what is probably the hardest period of my life right now, and I realized something simple. I just need to be around people especially foreigners. No performance, no pressure, just presence of some other people who are understanding and have empathy.
I'm looking for people in the Osaka area who might feel the same. Whether you're going through something difficult, feeling isolated, or just craving genuine human connection, this is for you. I looked up for some groups but couldn't find a real functioning group in Osaka, if you know any, feel free to share. If there is not, let's create one!
The idea from my side is simple:
Meet in a park, walk together, sit somewhere quiet. Fresh air, maybe some tea or coffee nearby if people want. No agenda, no pressure to share anything personal. We build trust first, and whatever anyone wants to share comes naturally over time.
I'm not a counselor or therapist, just someone having a very hard time, especially with my marriage, who believes sharing with other people who understands is part of the healing.
Practicalities:
Osaka south area (I'll share exact location once at least 3 people are interested)
We'll create a WhatsApp/Line group to coordinate
Outdoors preferred, weather is good right now
Open to ideas and suggestions, this is a group effort

Edit: This isn't a professional group therapy or mental support group run by a professional. Anyone having heavy mental health issues or needing professional help, they shall seek help in other places including TELL Japan. This group only intends to make a group of friends so you can talk whenever you feel lonely etc. and also meet up in person!
