Basketball in Kyoto

Hey guys, looking to play pickup basketball or even just practice in an empty basketball gym for the next few days. Does anyone know where I could do this?Looking near Kyoto station but tbh I will walk an hour to hoop if I have to.

So any indoor basketball courts with public availability or any pickup basketball runs would be appreciated.

  1. Nah nothing you can just go and use. Only bball groups have kind of open runs ( need to pay) cause even they have to participate in a monthly raffle to get gym spots. For just shooting I would advise you to Nishikyogoku park, there are 2 bball courts (kinda)

  2. I’m in the same situation as you. There’s only two hoops in kyoto and it’s kinda crowded

    You should try meetup in Osaka if you live near kyoto station
