Have any of you ever been asked to leave your company and refused?

I’d like to hear some stories about what kind of treatment people usually receive after refusing to quit.

For many Japanese people, it’s supposedly something that becomes psychologically exhausting, but a lot of us foreigners tend to see it as pretty great, as not being assigned any work while still continuing to receive a salary can feel like a dream scenario for many people.
