There's been a lot of news lately about companies changing their packaging due to naphtha shortages.
- Calbee is switching their packaging to black and white
- Wellna is removing the ink from the paper tape wrapped around their spaghetti
- Kagome is reducing the number of tomato illustrations on their packaging for ketchup
- Mire biscuits are stopping production because they can't afford packaging
- Bic Camera is limiting purchases of model paint to one color per person
- Many people are reporting that municipal garbage bags are sold out in many cities
Meanwhile, the government says that this is all overblown and there's enough naphtha to go around.
What's your take on all this?
